Surgical Image Inverter for Ophthalmic Microscope
The Surgical Image Inverter is an optical accessory designed for vitreoretinal and retinal surgery. It is installed in the optical path of an ophthalmic surgical microscope to provide an upright image during surgery.
During vitreoretinal procedures, the microscope may produce an inverted image through the optical system. The image inverter corrects the image orientation, allowing the surgeon to view the surgical field in a more natural orientation and perform delicate retinal procedures with greater visual convenience.
